Hi [[FIRST_NAME]],

Time flies when you're having fun - we are now half way through the season and Christmas is just around the corner.  We have plenty of sailors ramping up to attend national events and others just looking forward to the second half of the season in 2026.

We congratulate our Green Fleet on an amazing first half of the season with three of our green fleet sailors heading out onto the "big" course during the season - well done Lottie, Luke and Felix.

SBSC FUN DAY

What a fabulous day to end the SBSC Season! A scavenger hunt, blindfolded rigging, BBQ lunch, a visit from Santa and on water chaos. We hope everyone had a fantastic day.

The weather didn't come to the party, but everyone else did!  A massive thank you to everyone who attended and especially to Emily and Ben for a  massive amount of work organising the day.  Congratulations to all the winners on the day.

RYCT SHOWDOWN

This weekend is the last event of the Hobart Off the Beach sailing calendar for 2025, the RYCT Showdown. If you are participating, please take advantage of our volunteer's car trailers that are heading between the two clubs to assist with boat and trailer transport.  There is a trailer heading between the two clubs on Friday afternoon from 5pm.

On Saturday, those choosing to sail from SBSC must be escorted by their own parents, while all boats stay at RYCT overnight.  There will also be a car trailer to assist with transport of boats and trailers.

After Sunday’s racing, sailors will return to SBSC together under a parent rib escort, and any sailor retiring mid-day should head to RYCT for safety. Car trailers will wait until the end of Sunday’s sailing before moving boat trolleys back to SBSC.
