Ready to build confidence and take your sailing to the next level? Adult Learn to Sail Part 2 is designed for sailors who have completed our regular Adult Learn to Sail or have some basic sailing experience and want to become more independent on the water.

This course focuses on improving boat handling skills, sailing more efficiently, and developing confidence in a wider range of conditions. You’ll learn through a mix of on-water coaching and practical tips, all in a supportive and fun environment.

What you’ll learn

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

• Sail upwind, downwind and reach with better control and speed

• Tack and gybe confidently and smoothly

• Improve sail trim and steering techniques

• Understand wind awareness and how to sail efficiently

• Perform capsize recovery (where applicable) and manage safety on the water

• Build confidence sailing independently and as part of a group
