…but don’t know where to begin? Look no further! If you’re between the ages of 9 and 17, then this is the session for you. Our Learn to Sail Cadets coursewill teach you the basics of sailing in a boat with another person. It's also huge fun! Run by qualified Australian Sailing Instructors.
Learn how to rig and launch a boat
Learn the role of Helm (13-17) or Crew (9-13) depending on your age
Practice tacking, steering, and stopping safely
Gain confidence through fun on-water activities
Develop teamwork and independence
Be supported every step of the way by experienced instructors
Some sailing experience is helpful for this course, but not necessary as it is designed for beginners and is the first step in Sandy Bay Sailing Club’s junior Cadet sailing pathway. Space is strictly limited to a maximum of 10 participants so register now and start your sailing adventure with us!
