2026 Pre-Season Training - September 5th, 19th and 26th
Well, time to shake off the Off-Season and get ready for the season to come! These Saturday morning Pre-Season sessions are a chance to clear out the cobwebs, sharpen up those skills and make sure your boat is ready. All sessions are coached and will focus on the reminding sailors of the basics before proper training kicks off in October.
International Cadets (Intermediate+ only): RRTG* 9:30am - 12:00pm
9ers (Intermediate+ only): RRTG* 12:30pm - 3:00pm
Fees: Vary by class. All prices are PER SAILOR, so double-handed boats need both sailors to register.
Cadet Sailors: $119/members
9er Sailors: $119/members & $149/non-members
Optimist: $139/members & $169/non-members

To register for open/intermediate 9er or International Cadet training, sailors should be independent and safe across the core skills, with only the higher-level technical/tactical skills still developing. Sailors should already be able to sail a 9er/International Cadet confidently in wind conditions from 5 to 15 knots, including being able to tack, gybe, raise and drop the spinnaker and recover from a capsize independently.

*RRTG = Rigged and ready to go. This is a friendly reminder that sessions will start on time. If you are late, you may not be able to sail or will have to sail out to the fleet at the coach's discretion. The club will open 30mins prior to the session, or access for members can be made via the lockbox.
