Valour NSW Relay Championship - Expression of Interest (EOI)

Please complete this form to register your interest in being considered for selection for the RWLAC NSW Relay Championships team. NSW Relay Championships (Previously State Relays) is a team based competition. Please note, that completing the EOI does not ensure automatic selection. If you are asking for consideration in a track team, please ensure you note the training days. Attendance at training by all members of a track relay team is required to be eligible. This will ensure baton changes are as clean as possible.

Only athletes who have submitted an EOI will have their results reviewed by the Championships Officer. 

What happens when EOI close?

All submitted EOI will be reviewed with the results for these athletes. The Championships Officer will determine if 1) there is enough interest to form a team and if so, then 2) review the individual results of all potential team members. 

What results will be reviewed?

Athletes who were with RWLAC in the 2025-26 season will have their PB's (from Kelso only) used along with this seasons results to date, with the stronger result being used. Athletes who are new to RWLAC this season will have their results from the first 3 weeks of competition used.  

State Relay Dates: Where: Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre When: Sunday 8th November 2026 (8s -12s) & Friday 13th - Sunday 15th November 2026 (13s - 17s)

 

The EOI and results will be reviewed by our Championships Officer. Please note, that:

• only athletes who have completed the EOI will be considered for State Relay selection.
• simply having enough athletes complete an EOI will not guarantee selection on a team. 
• athletes who are unable to make training, especially those on the track team will not be considered. Training dates 23/10, 30/10 & 6/11.
• any athlete selected will need to pay a $30 athlete bond to secure their place on the team. This will be returned after the athlete participates in the relay.
