The Optimist Program is targeted at sailors who have demonstrated a intermediate to high level of skill in the Optimist and are participating at an Intermediate/Open level at regattas. Sailors are expected to have a deeper understanding of racing principles and strong boat handling skills. 

 

Sailors are required to own their own their own fibreglass Optimist 

If you are a parent registering for your child, you MUST register with your child's details not your own. 

Don't forget to also register for the Dinghy Racing Series through Sailsys. The link to register for this can be found on the Dinghy Squads webpage. Supported events and regattas are posted on the Notice of Program on the Dinghy Squads page.
