The Green Fleet Program is targeted at sailors aged 8-15 years old, who have recently completed the Sunday Tackers program and are looking for a fun introduction to racing Optimist. Sailors are expected to have a good grasp of the fundamentals of sailing, competent boat handling skills, ability to rig their own dinghy and an understanding of the basic racing rules.

On-water sessions will focus on developing an intermediate standard of boat handling skills in the Optimist and develop an understanding of race strategy.

Sailors are required to own their own Fibreglass Optimist to be a part of the program. Parents are required to volunteer on a regular basis throughout the season.

If you are a parent registering for your child, you MUST register with your child's details not your own.
