The much loved RSYS Youth Summer Camp returns to Point Wolstoncroft. Nestled on a leafy peninsula in Gwandalan at Lake Macquarie’s edge, the NSW Sport & Recreation Centre at Point Wolstoncroft offers an unforgettable sailing camp experience.

We look forward to seeing all of our youth sailors ready for a lot of adventure and lakeside camaraderie!

Due to limited spaces available please register by the 1st September 2025. 

Registration Costs:

• Youth with a Parent/Grandparent RSYS Member $965.00
• Youth without a Parent/Grandparent RSYS Member $1,165.00

Camp Hoodies 

Optional Camp Hoodies are available to purchase at an additional fee of $65 per hoodie.

These will be in Grey Marle colour and branded with RSYS Logo on the back. Youth and Adult sizes are available. Please see size chart below. 

 

Venue and Dates

The RSYS Youth Summer Camp 2025 will be held at Point Wolstoncroft Sport and Recreation Centre, Kanangra Drive, Gwandalan, NSW 2259.

The arrival date at camp will be: 1500hrs Monday 6 October 2025

The departure date from camp will be: 1100hrs Friday 10 October 2025

Meals and Accommodation

All meals are included, starting with afternoon tea on the 6th through to breakfast on the 10th.

Sailors and Camp Parents will be staying in the Casuarina Lodge consisting of a kitchen space, large dinning and lounge area with 4 ajoining cabins each with ensuites. Cabin allocations will be determined by the Academy Office prior to camp, with sailors grouped with similar aged sailors of the same gender.

Youth Summer camp is a drop and leave event - sailors being left in the care of RSYS Instructors during daytime activities and RSYS Camp Parents from 3pm-8am. 

Sailors will need to bring their own boats. If you do not own your own dinghy please note this within the registration.
