The SOP Green Fleet Squad is targeted at sailors aged 8-15 years old, who have recently completed the Sunday Tackers program and are looking for a fun introduction to racing. Sailors are expected to have a good grasp of the fundamentals of sailing, competent boat handling skills, ability to rig their own dinghy and an understanding of the basic racing rules.

On-water sessions will focus on developing an intermediate standard of boat handling skills in the Optimist and develop an understanding of race strategy.

Sailors need to be Affiliated Youth Members, Unaffiliated Youth Members or hold a current RSYS Youth Sailor Sail Pass to be a part of the program.

If you are a parent registering for your child, you MUST register with your child's details not your own.
