The SLP Development Squad is targeted at those who may have aged out of Optimist or had experience in other Dinghy classes and are aiming to gain skills in this single handed class. Here sailors will develop Laser (ILCA) specific racing skills and work on progresing over time to an SLP Advanced Squad. 

Sailors need to be financial Youth Members or hold a current RSYS Sail Pass to be a part of the program. 

If you are a parent registering for your child, you MUST register with your child's details not your own.

Program Focus:

The Intermediate Fleet Program includes scheduled and regular coaching. Allowing you to practice and race in club and class association programs at clubs.

At Intermediate Fleet level you may remain active- for-life, and enjoy lifelong activity which can cross multiple disciplines, and class of boat or board. 

During the Intermediate Fleet Program, there is continued freesail opportunity to support further enjoyment in the sport and environment.
