Have you ever felt ready for a regatta, only once the regatta was over? Did you ever wish you could practice beforehand, around a real course?

Welcome to the SAWKR Practice Day 2026! 

This is a free event for all teams participating in this year's SAWKR, and is hosted by the RSAYS SheSails and Racing committees.

The day will consist of multiple starts, after which the windward/leeward course will be open for teams to do as many laps as they choose before the marks are picked up at 2pm.

If your full crew is not available on the day, don't let it stop you. Fill in any gaps with whomever you'd like, or add some extras. Coach? Boat-owner? Go for it. Non-female sailor? No worries.

Although there won't be a traditional finish line with race winners, there will still be some free prizes! Join us back at RSAYS after the practice for a drink and a debrief, feel free to bring some nibbles to share.

Only one registration per boat is required.
