Come and join us for some fanastic fun on the water! This will be a Come and Try morning of Dinghy exploration for beginner 4-17 year olds. Our experienced Instructors and volunteers will guide participants through a very basic introduction to the dinghies, on and off our sheltered Outer Harbour waters, while fostering a fun atmosphere. Juniors can come and try the dinghies and then will be offered the opportunity to enrol in our beginner courses for various age groups. This is a free event but places are limited, and for this particular event parents are asked to stay onsite while participants are on the water.

Ever wondered what it’s like to go sailing? Join us for a Discover Sailing Day and experience the thrill of being on the water while exploring your local sailing club.

• No experience needed – just bring your sense of adventure
• Perfect for families, friends, and anyone curious about sailing
• Friendly club members will be there to welcome you and answer questions

Prerequisite: For safety reasons, participants must be confident in and around the water.

By the end of the day, you’ll have:

• Experienced sailing firsthand
• Discovered the fun and community spirit of your local club
• Learned about exciting courses, activities, and ways to keep sailing
