Come and join us for some fanastic fun on the water wth friends! This will be 6 weeks of Sunday Pacer Dinghy training for teens of mixed skill levels, with beginner and intermediate training encompassing OutThere Sailing 1 and 2, so kids of slightly different skill levels can stay with their friends and have a great time. Our experienced Instructors will guide participants through sailing skills development in our sheltered Outer Harbour waters while fostering a fun atmosphere. The 7th session will be a Sunday Fun Day where teens from all our programmes will come together for a day of fun on-water gentle competition and games. Please note that participants in the OutThere training programme must be RSAYS club members, and the Junior RSAYS club fee is an additional $125 on top of the course fee. The RSAYS is accredited for School Sports Vouchers and will provide all dinghy vessels and life jackets, and participants must be confident swimmers.

Overview

This is an OutThere Sailing combined course (a combination of OutThere Sailing 1, 2, 3). The combined course enables individual progression accross its duration, whilst allowing friends to remain together.

OutThere Sailing will always be about fun, social engagement and safety.

Prerequisites

Water confident.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who are 12-17 years-old looking to try a new activity, have some fun and engage with others whilst sailing.

Course Outcome

By the end of the OutThere Sailing combined course, the participants will achieve the standards of either OutThere Sailing 1, 2, or 3 and have had a lot of FUN with friends!
