Welcome to the RS Aero NSW Championships 2026; proudly sponsored by Aviso Specialty Insurance.
The RS Aero Class Association Australia and Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club are excited to welcome sailors from across Australia to the RS Aero NSW Championships 2026.
Located on the western shores of Lake Macquarie, Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club provides an ideal championship venue with reliable spring breezes, excellent launching facilities and one of Australia's premier inland sailing locations.
Whether you're chasing a State Championship title, attending your first RS Aero regatta, or simply looking for a great weekend of sailing, the NSW Championships offer something for everyone. The RS Aero class is renowned for its friendly, inclusive culture, with experienced sailors always willing to share knowledge and help newcomers get the most from their racing.
The regatta will feature:
- Coaching sessions and Twilight racing on Friday to help sailors prepare for the weekend. Further details to be released shortly,
- Two days of competitive championship racing.
- Professional race management by Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club.
- A relaxed social program throughout the event.
- Tips and Tricks, prizes and presentations.
- Opportunities to connect with RS Aero sailors from across Australia.
The regatta also provide an excellent opportunity for sailors preparing for the Salty Dingo RS Aero World Championships 2027, to be held at Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron in January 2027.
