Welcome back to RQ Youth Squad Training and welcome to new members! Training will recommence on Saturday 27th of January 2024, refer to fleet training scheduals for individual start dates. 

Please note there will be no training 29th Febuary to the 2nd March, due to the OTB Dingy Champs Regatta.

For this term you have the following options:

- Weekday sessions ONLY 

- Saturday sessions ONLY 

- Weekday AND Saturday sessions 

 

Training Days

Thurday starting on the 1st of February, 1600-1800 hrs: ILCA 4, ILCA 6, RS Feva and 29er

Friday starting on the 2nd of February, 1600-1800 hrs: Green Fleet Opti, Intermediate Opti, Open Opti, Green Fleet Quest and Windsurfer

Saturday starting on the 27th of January, 0830-1130 hrs: Green Fleet Quest and Youth Squad Fleets (ILCA 4, ILCA 6, RS Feva, 29er, Intermediate Opti, Open Opti, Windsurfer, Nacra)

Saturday starting on the 27th of January, 1300-1600 hrs: Wind Foil

Sunday starting on the 28th of January, 0830-1130 hrs: Green Fleet Opti

All Green Fleet Sailors must be booked in through the Green Fleet registration HERE.

 

Please ensure that BOTH the skipper and crew register for 2 handed boats

 

We will not be having casual entries for the term.

Please note a minimum of 4 boats is required per fleet for an allocated coach otherwise the fleet will train with another group.

If the weather conditions are not suitable to go on water a theory session will take place.

Please note: to be part of this training you are required to be a junior member of RQYS.

We ask that all sailors boats are rigged, and sailors are dressed in sailing gear ready to go prior to the start of the session time, either 0830 or 1600 hrs.

We ask all sailors to join Stack Team App in their appropriate fleets so our coaches can send notices and information. We also recpommend joining our facebook group 'RQYouthSquad' as we also share information on this page that can differ from Stack Team App.
