This initiative is aimed to create an open event where sailors from clubs around Perth can sail together and against one another whilst building the skills of the sailors around them.

Over 6 weeks, teams are given the chance to compete on a Friday night with all scores being recorded on a score sheet with the six best race results counting towards their final score. There will be no drops given across the 6 results.

With 3 races scheduled to be run on each night, this means that for each team who sail in 2 sessions are in the running to be called upon for the final race day. This is scheduled for Friday 9 April and the top 6 teams from the qualifying series will race in a 3 race series and will be crowned the ‘RPYC Friday Night BW8 Super Series’ winners!

The Boating Office will rotate teams through to ensure all teams get a chance to compete.
Teams must consist of (min & max) 4 persons
Spinnaker handling required

There will be three windward leeward races with spinnakers held in front of RPYC with the overall winner announced at results on the Catalina Bar once sailing for the day has concluded.
