Opti Bring a friend to training.

The School Holidays are fast approaching! Royal Perth Yacht Club will be hosting one of many Opti Bring A Friend Day!

All Optimisit Sailors are invited to bring a friend or sibling down to the club to train and bond together through fun activitiers planned by the OTB coaches. Make sure to tell your friend to pack a pair of warm clothes for on water activities and a pair of dry clothes for after the session.

You can birng the same friend across all 3 sunday sessions or bring a new friend each session. 

The event will cover 3 Sunday morning training sessions over the Term 2 School Holidays.

• 2^nd July 0900-1200

• 9^th July 0900 – 1200

• 16^th July 0900-1200

Discover Sailing Day – Come and Try Sailing!

Ever wondered what it’s like to go sailing? Join us for a Discover Sailing Day and experience the thrill of being on the water while exploring your local sailing club.

• No experience needed – just bring your sense of adventure
• Perfect for families, friends, and anyone curious about sailing
• Friendly club members will be there to welcome you and answer questions

Prerequisite: For safety reasons, participants must be confident in and around the water.

By the end of the day, you’ll have:

• Experienced sailing firsthand
• Discovered the fun and community spirit of your local club
• Learned about exciting courses, activities, and ways to keep sailing

Come along, give sailing a go, and see where the wind takes you!
