FIDE Blitz and ACF Quick Rated Chess Tournament

Time Control:
3 minutes + 2 seconds per move for the game.

Entry Fees:
Members: Free
Non-Members: $10 

Clocks start at exactly 7:15 pm. The default time is when the clock runs out.

Terms and Conditions:

• Entries are only accepted on our website.
• Decisions made by the chief arbiter on the night are final, and no appeals are permitted for the purpose of time. (Article 11.10)
• May FIDE and March ACF Ratings will be used.
• Half-point byes are only permitted for the tournament's first two rounds and must be communicated to the arbiter before 7 pm.
• Please email byes@rootyhillchessclub.org if you cannot make your game. 
• Players not residing in Australia must have a FIDE ID to compete. Players must obtain an ID from their national federation if not listed on the FIDE website.
• FIDE Blitz rules, as per Article B.3, will apply to this tournament.
