2026 Rooty Hill Rapid Championships

Open to chess club members only. 

FIDE and ACF Rated Chess Tournament

 

Time Control:
15 minutes + 10 seconds per move.

Clocks start at 7:15 pm sharp. The default time is when the clock runs out. 
Email byes@rootyhillchessclub.org if you are running late or can no longer attend the event. 

Dates:

Rounds 1-3: Monday 11th May
Rounds 4-6: Monday 18th May
Rounds 7-9: Monday 25th May

Entry Fee:
$20 for adults and juniors
Free entry for players over 2100 ACF Quick or 2000 FIDE Rapid.

1st: $400
2nd: $300
3rd: $200
1st U1600 ACF: $100
1st U1200 ACF: $100

In the case of a tie, prizes are pooled and split evenly between winners. Players are only eligible for one prize.
