We are excited to launch Roman Taekwondo Academy in Sydney!

Our founder, Ahmad Roman Abasy, is a Taekwondo athlete who represented Afghanistan in more than 30 international events, including winning a bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Games in Korea and competing at the 2015 World Taekwondo Championships in Russia. He was also honoured as Best Coach at the Tajikistan International Tournament in 2015.

After resettling in Australia, Roman has dedicated himself to empowering youth, refugees, and migrants through sport. The academy’s mission is to make Taekwondo inclusive, affordable, and accessible to all.
