A vital part of our Summer Sailing Season is our Learn to Sail Classes!
This Summer these are being presented from Monday January 8th to Friday January 12th, 2024.
The classes are open to all aged 10 or older and cost $190.00 for the full week (5 x 1.5hr classes).
Instructors are accredited by Yachting Australia.
Skill taught include:
basic nautical skills
points of sailing
rigging a boat safely
boat parts and their purpose
safety check of boats
clothing/equipment
launching from and returning to the beach
awareness of risks
righting a capsized boat
person overboard procedures
rope work
weather/sea conditions
basic racing knowledge
