Earn Your Dinghy Renting Certificate of Competency! 

Join our Certification Session on Saturday, 28th March 2026 from 1 PM to 3 PM!

💰 Cost: $65 per person Payment gateway fee of 2% + $1.60 applies.

Prerequisites:

• Level 3 with Australian Sailing "Better Sailing" course or equivalent.
• Enough experience in dinghy sailing to be fully autonomous.
• Have a current membership at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron

Program Inclusions:

• Set up and prepare the boat with assistance from an instructor if needed.
• Demonstrate your ability to be autonomous with a dinghy.

⚠️ Note: No refund will be issued if the certificate of competency is not obtained. However, you are welcome to take more training with us and try again!

For any inquiries, information, or special requests (such as enrolling in a course that is currently in progress), please contact us by email. Since we are often out of the office, emailing our training department ensures a quicker response.

Cancellations and Rebooking: Please note that courses canceled up to 72 hours in advance by email will not incur a fee to reschedule. However, cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice will be subject to a $75 charge (if you are sick, we will just need proof to waive this charge).

Important Information: Our sailing academy does not offer refunds. However, we will be more than happy to be flexible with any cancellations and find the best solution to reschedule your sailing session.
