Last year our first pre-season singles competition was held and with over 30 players being involved an obvious success. In 2026 we are going to run this again starting on Wednesday 4th March. 

The purpose of the competition

• to assist in the rankings of players, especially the juniors and new players
• Introduce new players to our club
• to improve our skills for the main season

The Format

The singles competition runs over 6 consecutive Wednesday nights. Each week players are ranked and play in a series of round robin matches against palyers of a similar ability. Each week the winner of each division goes up and the loser goes down to provide players the opportinity to further develop  their skills.
