Thank You

The Association sincerely thanks Hunt Fuels and the Hunt family for their longstanding support of this important competition. We were especially pleased to have Bill present the Hunt cloth badges, trophies and vouchers on behalf of David Hunt, who was unable to attend.

We also thank the Day 2 aggregate trophy sponsors: Jim Caspers, Winchester Australia, Mount Barker Rifle Club, CTV Rifle Club, Yunta Rifle Club and Murray Bridge Rifle Club.

Thank you as well to our Range Officers, markers, scorers, volunteers, kitchen crew, sponsors and all those who prepared the range and worked behind the scenes. Your contribution makes the Hunt Series possible.

Remembering Ann Hunt

During the presentations, we also paused to remember Ann Hunt of Jamestown, who passed away on 17 September at the age of 91. Ann and her late husband, Kevan, have a lasting connection with the shooting community through the Hunt family and Hunt Fuels’ support of the competition.

On behalf of SARA and all Hunt competitors, we extend our sincere condolences to Ann’s family, friends and loved ones. Vale Ann Hunt, and vale Kevan Hunt.

With the Hunt Series now complete, attention turns to the 132nd Kings Prize, commencing tomorrow. We wish all competitors the very best for the next three days of competition.
