The 2026 SARA Kings Series is underway following a strong opening day of the Hunt Series at Lower Light.

Competitors completed three matches at 500m, 600m and 700m, with the first day’s aggregates producing some outstanding scores across Target Rifle, F-Class and Sporter classes. Congratulations to all shooters who competed and to the following Day 1 aggregate leaders:

Special mention goes to Cameron Whant, whose 178.015 led the F-Open field, and to Rob Staley, who recorded an impressive 150.018 in Sporter PCO, including 18 centres.

Thank you to the competitors, Range Officers, butts crew, volunteers, caterers and everyone contributing behind the scenes to the smooth running of the event.

The Hunt Series continues today with two matches at 800m, followed by the final 900m match. Good luck to all competitors as the Hunt aggregate continues to build.
