Course information
Adult Dinghy Level 2 builds on the skills learnt in level 1 dinghy or keelboat, and is ideal for those wanting to further develop their small boat sailing skills. Participants will generally sail 2-handed Pacer dinghies, however RS21 keelboats may be used if conditions dictate. RGYC strictly abides to Australian Sailing instructor/student ratios - places are limited so we recommend registering early to avoid disappointment.
Dates: Tuesdays, October 6th to November 3rd. NO SESSION OCTOBER 20TH.
Time: 5.30pm to 8.30pm
Cost: $380
Member Discount: RGYC Members, and children or grandchildren of members, are eligible for a 10% discount on all RGYC sailing courses. Please contact the Sailing Office via sailing@rgyc.com.au to obtain a discount code.

Course Overview
This course equips participants with boat rigging knowledge and sailing skills to sail a dinghy on their own.
Course Prerequisites
Water confident, and the skills and knowledge gained in Start Sailing 1.
Who should do this course?
This course is designed for participants who have completed Start Sailing 1 and are wanting to learn and continue to develop their fundamental sailing skills.
Course Outcome
You will gain your Start Sailing 2 completion certificate.

We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
