Royal Geelong Yacht Club has a fleet of 6 x RS21 keelboats. The RS21's are available to members to lease for training and club racing series and regattas. Please complete the registration form to include all of your personal details, list of crew, and date of use/series. Please note a separate entry must be made for a club racing series or regatta.

Further information may be required for the RGYC Sailing Office to consider this application. The approval of this application by the RGYC will result in a licence subject to the terms and conditions, and any other restrictions notified by the RGYC Sailing Office on the use of the RS21 including but not limited to the area, crew numbers, sail plan or time limits. The RGYC reserves the right to immediately terminate any approved licence, for inappropriate or incompetent use of the RS21 during the lease period, in which event the lease fee or any part of it is non-refundable.

You will need to submit the following information to support your application:

• Personal details (include RGYC membership and Australian Sailing number)
• Crew information
• A brief overview of the sailing experience of skipper and crew

Boat type: RS21 (Keelboat)

Cost for boats to be craned in and out by the skipper:

$100 - 2 hours

$160 - 4 hours 

$280 - 8 hours

Cost for boats to be craned in and out by staff:

$130 - 2 hours

$180 - 4 hours 

$300 - 8 hours

Please note, a damage deposit of $1000 is required to charter an RS21. A pending invoice will be placed on your member account. 

To register as the skipper, you must be a current financial member with a current marine license. 

To be considered for approval please register 2 business days before your preferred date. 

If approved the boats will be made available to you 30 minutes before use if being craned in by staff or 1 hour before use if the skipper/member is craning the boat in.
