Girls to the Front 2026

Please join RFBYC, The Ron Tough Yachting Foundation and WAIS as we present five sessions of sailing for young girls and women.

Dates: Saturday 23rd May; Saturday 13th June; Saturday 4th July; Saturday 1st August; and Saturday 5th September 

Cost: $25 per sailor per day. RFBYC members are free!

Group 1: 0900 to 1300
For Juniors (7 years to 13 years old)

Group 2: 0900 to 1600 
For Youth/Young Adults (14 years to 30 years)

Fleet racing in Pacers for all in the morning and then ILCA, 29er, 420, iQFoil and Windsurfing Fleets in the afternoon.

Sailors must have a minimum Green Fleet level competency to participate.

Program Focus:

The Intermediate Fleet Program includes scheduled and regular coaching. Allowing you to practice and race in club and class association programs at clubs.

At Intermediate Fleet level you may remain active- for-life, and enjoy lifelong activity which can cross multiple disciplines, and class of boat or board. 

During the Intermediate Fleet Program, there is continued freesail opportunity to support further enjoyment in the sport and environment.
