Perth’s proud maritime heritage is set to enter an exciting new chapter as the city welcomes the world’s best sailors for high-speed, close-to-shore racing — a first for our coastline.

With the famous Fremantle “Doctor” winds expected to make an appearance, the Oracle Perth Sail Grand Prix presented by KPMG promises some of the most thrilling racing in SailGP history.

Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club is proud to support this prestigious event by assisting with the recruitment of suitably qualified course marshals.

While the racecourse itself will be managed by SailGP’s professional team using BOTs, there is also a need for inflatable marks to be laid to define exclusion zones and assist with the safe management of spectator craft. This is a unique opportunity to witness one of the most exciting international sailing events up close and to play a part in its success.
