Terms Of Registration

By registering for the Macedon Ranges Volleyball Association (MRVA) competition, all players and teams agree to the following terms:

1. Registration & Eligibility

All players must complete registration prior to participating in any matches.
Competitions are open to all skill levels and ages, however juniors may be required to play in appropriate divisions as determined by MRVA.

2. Competition Details

The Winter Competition runs from 12 July to 7 December 2026.
Competitions include:
- Sunday Women’s Competition (Riddells Creek Leisure Centre)
- Monday Mixed Open Competition (Macedon Ranges Sports Precinct)
- Junior Competition (subject to interest and court availability)
MRVA reserves the right to adjust fixtures, divisions, or venues where necessary.

3. Fees & Payments

All registration and/or team fees must be paid by the advised due date.
Players or teams with outstanding fees may not be permitted to take the court.
Fees are non-refundable once the competition has commenced, unless under exceptional circumstances approved by MRVA.

4. Team & Player Responsibilities

Teams are responsible for ensuring they have enough players each week.
Fill-in players must hold Volleyball Victoria Membership and be approved by the commitee and captains.
All players must follow the rules of the game and respect referees, officials, and other participants.

5. Player Conduct

MRVA promotes a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
Any form of abuse, harassment, or unsportsmanlike behaviour will not be tolerated.
MRVA reserves the right to suspend or remove players or teams who breach conduct expectations.

6. Juniors

Junior players are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Juniors competing are strongly encouraged to attend Sunday training sessions at Riddells Creek Leisure Centre.
Parents/guardians may be required to complete consent during registration.

7. Injuries & Liability

Players participate at their own risk.
MRVA is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation.
Players are encouraged to have appropriate personal insurance.

8. Cancellations & Changes

MRVA may cancel or reschedule games due to venue availability, extreme weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
Updates will be communicated as early as possible.
