Coaching Fee is $200 for 5 days if you use your own Quest.
Coaching Fee is $220 if you use a club boat.
Late Fee $60pp after 23/7. * Please note that a payment gateway fee of 2% + $1.60 applies to all online transactions.
Drop off time 12 noon.(unsupervised).
Sailors should rig a Quest, meet with your crew and get changed into sailing gear ready for a 1 pm coaches briefing in the Sturrocks kitchenette.
Pick up time 4.30pm.
This course is aimed at building foundational sailing, teamwork and seamanship skills. It then starts on some basic racing skills.
Course Prerequisites
- Water confident.
- Completed skills in Out There 3.
- 12-18 years-old.
What you need.
Technical Sailing Clothing for sailing in September.
Long leg Wetsuit(buy online second hand on Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree)
Rubber Wetsuit boots covering ankles(surf shop or above).
Hat (or beanie in cold weather).
*Thermal underwear top - (polypropylene) thin long sleeve top you can buy in any outdoor hiking/snowsports shop. Wear this under the wetsuit in cold conditions.
Light weight water proof/breathable seam taped jacket.
Clothing for hot weather sailing.(26-36 degrees)
Shorts.
Wetsuit boots.
hat.
Rash top long sleeves to protect against sun burn. (Buy at any surf shop)
