Fee $350pp.

This course is aimed at children aged 12-17 years old who have not sailed before, and builds foundational skills essential for sailing. Junior Fun and Adventure encourages a love for sailing with games based activities and different educational activities in and around the water.
Course Prerequisites
- Water confident
- 12-17 years-old.
What you need.
Clothing for sailing in September.
Wetsuit(buy online second hand on Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree)
Wetsuit boots covering ankles(surf shop or above).
Hat (or beanie in cold weather).
*Thermal underwear top - (polypropylene) thin long sleeve top you can buy in any outdoor hiking/snowsports shop.
Light weight water proof/breathable seam taped jacket.
Clothing for hot weather sailing.(26-36 degrees)
Shorts.
Wetsuit boots.
hat.
Rash top long sleeves to protect against sun burn. (Buy at any surf shop)
Who should do this course?
This course is designed for participants who have done Out There 2 and wish to have fun and learn the basics of sailing on and off the water.
Once sailors can confidently demonstrate the Out There 3 competencies they can move into our club Youth Development Group which sails in the afternoons.To become a youth club member it costs only $115 a year.

Overview
OutThere Sailing 3 has a variety of challenges and skills to master during the program. While the focus is still on fun and hanging out with mates, this course will teach you skills that will make you more competent out on the water and in a position to take your friends out sailing.

Water confident.
Who should do this program?
This program is designed for participants who are 12-17 years-old, who have done OutThere Sailing 2, who are now looking to develop further sailing skills, whilst still having fun and engaging with other teenagers.
