Dear Athletes

Christmas Throws in July is back for 2026, on 25 and 26 July at the State Athletics Facility.

The unique medals are also back. As well as hammer, javelin, discus, shot and weight the following State Championships will be contested:

  • Heavy Weight Pentathlon
  • Super Weight
  • 56lb and 100lb 

TO ENTER: athletes will need to enter their National Member ID number, and will be sent an email to complete their entry details. 
Interstate Masters who do not have a NM ID # should contact the Convenor.

PROGRAM:

The individual throws of hammer, shot, discus, javelin and weight will be conducted on Saturday 25th for all age groups although not in the same order for each of the age groups. 
 
The Heavy Weight Pentathlons will be conducted on Sunday 26th. 
 
The super weight, 56 lb and 100 lb will be split between last time slot on the Saturday and between the morning and late morning Heavy Weight Pentathlons on the Sunday.
