2023 Team Management Nominations for the Australian Athletics Championships, Australian Cross Country Championships & Australian All Schools Championships. 

ALL FOR TEAM MANAGERS

To support the safe and effective function of the Queensland Athletics team, the Association is calling for applications from potential Team Staff. Applicants are required to read through the information contained in this form.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Nominees for the above positions MUST meet the following criteria to be eligible for selection as a Team Manager:

Coaches must hold current Athletics Australia Coaches Membership

Nominees must possess a Working With Children (Blue) Card
Nominees must be a member of QA (membership for volunteers/officials is FREE, please see www.qldathletics.org.au)
Nominees must possess a sound knowledge of Athletics
Previous team management experience is advantageous
Previous athletics coaching experience is advantageous

Team Managers are expected to act, at all times, in accordance with the highest standards of behaviour as positive role models for team members. Team Managers are to ensure that they promote the safety of athletes and themselves in all situations.

SELECTION PROCESS

All applications should be submitted on the following Application Form. All applications must be received by Queensland Athletics by  the 16th of February. 

The applications will be reviewed by Queensland Athletics and all applicants will receive a response stating whether or not their nomination has been successful on the 1st of March. To guarantee that you receive this response, please ensure that the contact details you provide are correct and legible.

Those applicants that are selected as Team Managers will be required to engage in the development of preparations for the tour
