Join us for the Hobie Queensland State Titles at the spectacular Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club over the October Long Weekend.

Set on the beautiful waters of Lake Cootharaba at Boreen Point, this premier regatta brings together Hobie sailors from across Queensland and beyond for three days of competitive racing, great camaraderie, and unforgettable sailing. Renowned for its reliable sea breezes and expansive flat-water racecourse, Lake Cootharaba is one of Australia's favourite Hobie sailing venues.

Whether you're chasing a State Title, looking to kick off the sailing season, or simply keen to enjoy a fantastic weekend with the Hobie community, this event has something for everyone. Off the water, competitors and families can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, social events, and hospitality that make Boreen Point a favourite destination year after year.

Day 1 – Saturday

• Registration and weigh-in
• Competitor briefing
• First Warning Signal: 12:30 pm
• BBQ at LCSC

Day 2 – Sunday

• First Warning Signal (Session 1): 10:00 am
• Lunch break
• Afternoon racing (Session 2): After Lunch
• Dinner booking at the Apollonian Hotel

Day 3 – Monday

• First Warning Signal: 10:00 am
• No Warning Signal after: 2:30 pm
• Presentation as soon as practicable after racing

Boreen Point offers accommodation to suit all budgets, including:

• Holiday houses and waterfront accommodation.

• Camping at Boreen Point Campground.

• Elanda Point Campground for those wanting a bush camping experience.

• Lake Cootharaba Motel.

• Additional accommodation is available in Tewantin and Noosa, approximately 20–30 minutes away.

Food & Local Attractions

• Coffee and light meals are available from the clubhouse kiosk during the regatta.

• The Apollonian Hotel is a favourite for post-racing meals and refreshments.

• Boreen Point is the gateway to the Noosa Everglades and offers kayaking, swimming and walking trails for accompanying family members.

• Tewantin is only a short drive away for supermarkets, supplies and additional cafés and restaurants.
