Welcome to Perth Pythons Hockey Club September to December 2026 Season.

1) Pythons Membership - $25 + Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance ($70.22)

This is our main club membership, and everyone playing with us needs this. The Pythons membership provides you with:

• Social Sunday trainings! Trainings are now only being held every second week to make sure we are giving our members the best value for money. The trainings are held at UWA Hockey club, 4:30pm - 5:30pm, starting the 20th September 2026 and running fortnightly from this date until the 13th of December 2026.
• Perth Pythons Membership Cap
• Python’s Events + Discounts (e.g. Season Wind-Up, Social BBQ’s).
• Ability to participate in tournaments (e.g. Counrty Trip, World Pride, Albany Pride, Busselton Pride - versing other hockey teams local or interstate/international)
• Discount with our Hockey Partners at Voodoo Hockey
• Voting rights at the AGM

2) Pythons Membership & Summer 7-a-side Hockey - $105 + Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance ($70.22)

Includes the main club membership above and participation in the 7-a-side Summer Hockey competition being held by UWA Hockey Club. Games start Thursday, 15th October 2026, and run for 8 weeks until Thursday, 3rd December 2026. We will be registering a mens, mixed, and womens team and will do everything we can to place you in your desired team!

3) Pythons Membership & Summer 11-a-side Hockey - $100 + Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance ($70.22) 

Includes the main club membership and participation in the 11-a-side Summer Hockey competition being held at Perth Hockey Stadium. Games start on Tuesday 13th October and run for approx 8-10 weeks. Rules include no hitting or lifting and max 6 guys on field per team. Games will be running between 6:00pm-10:00pm.

* The demand for the 11 a side team is VERY HIGH! This is a first come first serve situation! There are 18 spots on the team so make sure you register ASAP! If we have enough demand we are also looking into potentially having a second team if we can! 

4) Pythons Membership & BOTH Summer 7-a-side Hockey and 11-a-side Hockey - $175 + Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance ($70.22) 

Includes:

• The main club membership
• Participation in the 7-a-side Summer Hockey competition being held by UWA Hockey Club. Games start Thursday, 15th October 2026, and run for 8 weeks until Thursday, 3rd December 2026. We will be registering a mens, mixed, and womens team and will do everything we can to place you in your desired team!
• Participation in the 11-a-side Summer Hockey competition being held at Perth Hockey Stadium. Games start on Tuesday 13th October and run for approx 6-8 weeks. Rules include no hitting or lifting and max 6 guys on field per team. Games will be running between 6:00pm-10:00pm.

Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance

All options include the full Hockey Australia Levy which is required for anyone stepping on the hockey field and will cover you for the remainder of the calendar year. If you are planning in playing in a Winter Competition this year, you will not have to pay for your Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance a second time and this will not be added to your membership costs with your winter club.

When registering, select either "RETURNING MEMBER" or "NEW MEMBER". If you have played hockey in the past (including either the Pythons or any other hockey club), click on "RETURNING MEMBER".

Hockey WA is part of the Hockey Australia National Group Insurance Plan managed by Honan. Information on the Honan website for Hockey Australia for players and club officials.

Also, we understand that costs associated with our membership can be prohibitive. We don’t want this to be a barrier to you starting your life changing journey with us. That's why we have introduced payment plans this year. You now have the option to split you registration costs over 6 fortnightly payments. This unfortunately doesn't apply to the Insurance Levy which has to be paid at registration.
