Welcome to Perth Pythons Hockey Club Jan to Mar 2024 Season.
Registration is now open for old and new members.
We have three membership options this season:
1) Pythons Membership - $107.31 (Includes Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance)
This is our main club membership, and everyone playing with us needs this. The Pythons membership provides you with:
- Social Sunday trainings! Training is at UWA Hockey club, 4:30pm - 5:30pm, starting 14th January 2024.
- Python’s social events and communications (e.g., season opener, Fringe nights, social BBQ’s).
- Ability to participate in tournaments (e.g. Sydney World Pride, Albany Pride, Busselton Pride - versing other hockey teams local or interstate/international)
- Discount with our Hockey Partners at Voodoo Hockey
- Voting rights at the AGM
- Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance (which is valid from Jan 2024 - Dec 2024 and will cover anyone playing in the WA winter hockey season)
2) Pythons Membership & Summer Hockey - $167.31 (Includes Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance)
Includes the main club membership above and participation in the 11-aside summer hockey competition being held by Cockburn Hockey Club. Games start Friday, 19th January 2024, and run for 8 weeks until Friday, 8 March 2024.
Please note this season, due to the UWA turf being replaced, there will be no social 7-aside hockey competition. However, 11-aside is a great opportunity to hone your skills and learn in a supportive and challenging environment.
Registration for Membership + 11-a-side competition is required by Wednesday, 17 January 2024 and as above, includes the Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance.
3) Pythons Social Membership - $50 (no insurance included)
This membership option is for those who want to be a part of the Pythons family but won't be participating in the training or playing in the summer 11-aside competition. Social membership includes:
- Spectating at our Social Sunday trainings! Training is at UWA Hockey club, 4:30pm - 5:30pm, starting 14th January 2024.
- Python’s social events and communications (e.g., season opener, Fringe nights, social BBQ’s).
- Spectating at Tournaments (e.g. Sydney World Pride, Albany Pride, Busselton Pride - versing other hockey teams local or interstate/international)
- Discount with our Hockey Partners at Voodoo Hockey
- Voting rights at the AGM
Hockey Australia Levy/Insurance
Options 1 and 2 include the full Hockey Australia Levy which is required for anyone stepping on the hockey field and will cover you for the remainder of the calendar year.
When registering, select either "RETURNING MEMBER" or "NEW MEMBER". If you have played hockey in the past (including either the Pythons or any other hockey club), click on "RETURNING MEMBER".
Hockey WA is part of the Hockey Australia National Group Insurance Plan managed by Honan. There is a heap of information on the Honan website for Hockey Australia for players and club officials.
