A FREE community event.

Ever wondered what it's like to sail on the spectacular waters of Port Stephens?

Join Port Stephens Yacht Club for Set Sail Sunday and enjoy a free sailing experience aboard one of our members' yachts, followed by an afternoon of BBQ, live music and dancing at the Clubhouse.

Whether you've never stepped aboard a yacht before or you're simply looking for a fantastic Sunday out, everyone is welcome.

Free Sailing Experience

Places aboard our yachts are limited, so pre-registration is essential.

Simply register your interest online and we'll allocate you to one of our participating yachts before the event.

Program

• 11.00 am – Meet at Port Stephens Yacht Club
• 11.30 am – Depart for your sailing experience
• Approximately 2.30 pm – Return to the Club

BBQ, Live Music & Dancing

From 3.00 pm, everyone is welcome at the Clubhouse to enjoy live music and dancing with The Hippie Flares.

A complimentary sausage sizzle will be available, or bring your own meat, salads or picnic and enjoy the afternoon overlooking the water.

The afternoon festivities are open to everyone, whether you go sailing or simply join us at the Club.
