trailableyachts,totheWesternRegionYachtingRegatta onthe18th and 19th April,atPortMacDonnellSA

 

1.       SailingInstructions

AllrelevantinformationrelatingtoCourses/Racing willbedetailedatbriefing priortoracingeachday. The regatta will be run/ governed by Racing Rules of Sailing ‘Blue Book’ with Australian Sailing Prescriptions

2.       Entry

Entries will be taken at the Port MacDonnell Sailing Clubhouse from 9am on Saturday 18th of april or by email(see below in further information) Allyachtsshallhaveaminimumof $5,000,000.PublicLiabilityInsurance.Insigningtheentryformyou are deemedtohavefulfilledthisrequirement.Forentry all sailors need to be a current member of an Australian sailing club or association and hold a current AS number.

4.       Divisions

Div 2 (Mono’s/ cats with greater handicap of 80)

5.      Prizes

6.      Local accommodation close to the club is limited except for the

Foreshore Tourist Park (08) 8738 2095 approx. 200metres from the clubhouse.

Camping is available around the clubhouse precinct.

 

7.      Off the beach boats can stay rigged and on trailers at the clubhouse, short sandy ramp and

beach access at the clubhouse with vehicle access, PMSC club member will be staying over at the clubhouse grounds to keep an eye on the boats from midafternoon on Friday the 17th and including Saturday night the 18th.

 

8.      Trailable boats can launch from the breakwater boat ramp (2km from the clubhouse) with good access and depth, may pending condition tie up at the launching pontoon and stay in the water for the weekend.

 

9.      Dinner for Saturday night will be hosted and catered by the club. Other local food options are available a short distance in town.

 

10.   Clubhouse location is correct on Google maps and is the 1st building on the southern side of sea parade heading East from town.
