Green Fleet Coaching – Saturday Mornings at Port Curtis Sailing Club
Green Fleet is a fun and supportive next step for young sailors who are ready to build confidence in around-the-buoys racing without the pressure of a full competitive environment. It is designed to give sailors practical race experience in a way that is encouraging, manageable and focused on learning.
Each session begins with a pre-race briefing covering the day’s activity, course format and key sailing skills. This is also a great chance for sailors to ask questions, revisit rules, and get clarification on the techniques and knowledge they are developing. We follow up with a post-brief talking through what worked what didn't and race results.
On the water, sailors are supported by coaches throughout the session to help maximise learning, confidence and improvement. Green Fleet is all about development, fun and building the skills needed to become a life-long sailor. The mornings are supported by a PCSC-accredited Foundational Coach, Safety Boat Operators and Assistant Instructors.

Program Focus:
Green Fleet is an introduction to coaching and learning to train.
Green Fleet promotes practicing the fundamental skills of sailing, introduces some foundation race skills through training activities in an environment that is enjoyable, without a competition focus.
