A Monthly Golf Croquet Competition for Wide Bay, South Burnett & other S.E Qld Clubs

Following the success of our inaugural Golf Croquet Shield in May, the Point Lookout Croquet Club has pleasure in inviting players to our June competition — a fun event for people across South East Queensland who wish to hone their tournament skills.

Event Details

• When: 17^th June 2025, registration 7.30 a.m., start at 8:00 a.m.

• Where: Point Lookout Croquet Club, 23 North St, Maryborough 4650.

• Entry Fee: $15.00.

Future Tuesday ‘Shield’ dates (subject to change)

  July 15, Aug 12, Sept 16, Oct 14, Nov 18 (resume in March 2026).

Competition Format

• Blocks will be determined by current handicap/index, with players of similar ability grouped together.

• Each player will play two consecutive games against each of the other three opponents in their block.

• All courts will be double banked.

• Level play, with handicap cards to be filled in after the end of both games.

• Dawson balls, Australian Croquet hoops set at 3 & 11/16^’’

• Games will be 45 minutes, with an extension period as per Rule 19.1.3.

• Results will be entered on Croquet Scores.

• Winner of each block will receive a monthly Point Lookout Golf Croquet “Shield”.
