Join competitors from across Australia at the 2026 Target Pistol Australia Action Pistol National Championships, hosted by the experienced team at Toowoomba Pistol Club.
Toowoomba Pistol Club has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality Action Pistol events, having successfully hosted previous National Championships as well as numerous major competitions, including the Pistol Shooting Queensland State Championships.
Adding to the excitement, Toowoomba Pistol Club will also host the 2026 CMP Action Pistol World Championships immediately following the National Championships. This provides competitors with a unique opportunity to experience the world-class facilities, test themselves against the nation's best shooters, and be part of the build-up to an international championship event.
Whether you are chasing a National title, looking to improve your skills, or simply keen to enjoy great competition and camaraderie, this promises to be a memorable championship not to be missed.

EVENTS
Match 1 – Practical Event CMP Rule 6.2.1
Match 2 – Barricade Event CMP Rule 6.2.2
Match 3 – Falling Plate Event CMP Rule 6.2.3
Match 4 – Moving Target Event CMP Rule 6.2.4
Match 5 – The Open Team Match. The team must be a two-person team and prenominate the two (2) events in which their score will count. This is a non-fired (paper) match. The Team Award will be based on the aggregate total of each Team Member’s individual score from their nominated events from Matches 1, 2, 3 & 4.
Match 6 – The Iron Man Event. A combination of Matches 1, 2, 3 & 4 in both the Open and Metallic Sight divisions will determine the winner of the Iron Man Award.
Match 7 – The Metallic Team Match. The team must be a two-person team and prenominate the two (2) events in which their score will count. This is a non-fired (paper) match. The Team Award will be based on the aggregate total of each Team Member’s individual score from their nominated events from Matches 1, 2, 3 & 4.
Match 10 – The 37th TPA Action Pistol National Championships. The aggregate of each individual’s score in the various matches i.e. 1, 2, 3 & 4 will determine his/her final standing and will determine the winner of the Tournament in Open, Metallic Sight and Production Optics.
Match 11 – The Ladies Team Events. The Team Award will be based on the aggregate total of each Team Member’s individual score from their nominated events from Matches 1, 2, 3 & 4. Match 12 – The Junior Team Event. The Team Award will be based on the aggregate total of each Team Member’s individual score from their nominated events from Matches 1, 2, 3 & 4.
