Dear Rowers, Family and Friends,

It’s that time of year again, so we are having a bit of a Christmas celebration! The date will be Sunday 17 December 2023, so we can eat all the left overs from the regatta!

We will also have a bit of a row past following the ceremony as well.  Come down to the club for normal training times, and at 1100 hrs we will put the barbie and some music on, have a bit of a row past immediately after in the new boat. After our row past we will bring the boats in clean up a bit, and then have a barbecue.

We are going to share the load, so we will be doing a bit of a potluck for salads and desserts. This is how it going to work.

• Surnames A – M: If your surname lands in the first half of the alphabet can you please bring a dessert. 
• Surnames N – Z: If your surname is in the second half of the alphabet, please bring a salad.

For the modest sum of 10 dollars, the club will supply some nice meat, vegetarian protein options and bread, and the bar will be open for drinks as well.

Please come on down and enjoy a bit of Christmas cheer with your team-mates, old friends and family. It’s a family event, so family members are welcome as well.
