Supporting our competitors travelling to Tugun QLD for the National Surf Life Saving Championships (Aussies) at the end of March as well as the State Championships at Swansea Belmont in February

In late February 2026 we will be taking approx. 15-20 crews to the State Championships in Swansea Belmont and then in late March 2026 we will be taking our crews up to Tugun Beach QLD for the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships. Close to a quarter of our active patrolling members will be competing, they have been training hard all year and many are excellent chances to win a medal . 

The costs this season to get to both Swansea & Tugun QLD will again be expensive (flights, accommodation, petrol for boats transport, entries, mini bus/car hire in QLD, etc) and with a large number of our competitors under the age of 25 (approx. 10 of our crews) we are trying to help subsidise the cost as much as we can, along with having both events incur nil cost to the Club.

100% of the profits from the Surf Club Summer Raffle will go towards subsidising our State & Nationals teams and their pursuit for gold.

 We would love every one of our club members to support by purchasing a ticket ($10) or multiple tickets (10 tickets for $100), please help us so we can help out our competitors 👍🙏

The raffle will be drawn on the back lawn after Brats, Brutes, Bruisers on Saturday 3rd January 2026, with winners being contacted by phone if they are not on the back lawn at BBB.
