The Pacer is a 3.8m one design sloop-rigged family dinghy, complete with mainsail, jib and spinnaker. The Pacer is the ideal performance family yacht, it has a lightweight hull, capable of high planing speed. Its wide beam and moderate sail area allows this performance to be enjoyed by husband/wife or parent/child. It is safe and stable and makes an excellent boat for training, green fleet, up-and-coming sailors to highly competitive racing at the front of the fleet.

The Pacer Association runs regular events, including an annual National Championship Regatta, State Championship Regattas, and training "Pacer Days". Our membership is a small, friendly and welcoming group of people of all ages who share a love of sailing, racing and some great laughs.
