INDEMNITY AND WAIVER

Please read this important legal document carefully. It details information on release of claims and waiver of liability. I acknowledge and accept the following terms: - I am in good health and have a sufficient level of fitness to participate in any run organised by Old Virgilians Athletics Club and Knockoffs Run Club; I am not suffering any pre-existing or known medical condition which affects my ability to run and participate in this event. - If I am injured or require medical assistance during or immediately after the event, I consent to receiving that treatment at my own cost, including ambulance transportation. - If I choose to participate with known pre-existing or known medical conditions, I do so at my own risk and Old Virgilians Athletics Club and Knockoffs Run Club bares no responsibility for the outcome of any such incident arising from this. - I am not suffering any symptoms of an illness that may be transmitted to any other participant . - Running is an activity that often leads to injury and can, in extreme circumstances, result in death. -I consent to Old Virgilians and Knockoffs Run Club using my personal information, including photography and videography, for marketing and social media. I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photographs or videos prior to publication and I hereby waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the image. (Old Virgilians Athletics Cub and Knockoffs Run Club will never give out your personal information to other organisations without your express consent). - Where I am unsure of what attire is appropriate for running, I accept that it is my responsibility to make my own enquiries. - I understand that I have the sole responsibility for the security of my personal possessions before, during and after the event. Old Virgilains and Knockoffs Run Club is not responsible for my property at any time and I agree to hold Knockoffs Run Club harmless in the event of any property loss or damage.
