Forbes Training/Fun Day’ to be held at Lake Forbes on Sunday April 6th 2025. Start time-09:00 Finish-13:00

Minimum crews of 10 paddlers sweep and drummer. Numbers are restricted to enable a family friendly atmosphere.

All events will be conducted using standard boats. 

Events for the day will be advised at a later date but will include sprint racing over a 3 lane course, turn races and novelty events.
The day will be a an opportunity for new paddlers, trainee drummers and sweeps to experience the thrill of competition in a friendly and welcoming environment. There will be no medals, ribbons etc it will be all about having an enjoyable experience without the pressure of a regatta situation.
A BBQ will be going all day at the club shed. Coffee and other food will be available a short walk across Bates bridge to the Lions Park Cafe where public toilets are also available.
