Dugout Rules
Player safety and dugouts.
All persons in the dugout during a game must be:
- A registered player for Oberon (or one of our affiliated substitute players) in the current season.
If you are not currently registered in the Oberon team (eg: friends, former players, partners) :
- You must be registered to play hockey with another club or registered as an official in the current season.
- AND have a working with children check which has been forwarded to the Safety Officer for verification with the NSW Government.
If you don’t have the above, or have not forwarded your WWCC, don’t enter the dugout.
Player safety is a serious issue and noncompliance with these rules could result in a fine.
Spot audits by the NSW Government can happen at any time.
If you are found in breach, Bathurst Hockey Association and Oberon Hockey Club will NOT pay this fine for you. The fine will be forwarded on to the person who has breached the rules.
