We encourage all members to participate and nominate fellow deserving Olympians for the below  2025 Olympian Perpetual Trophies.

When nominating, please use the nomination form below and provide a full description of why you believe the nominee is deserving of this award. Nominations will close 5pm Sunday 21st September. All nominations are to be emailed to olympianshockey@gmail.com

Olympians Umpiring Award: This annual encouragement award is to be awarded to
an up and coming umpire who displays a willingness to umpire and actively seeks to
improve their performance and develop their skills. Or a senior umpire who actively
supports up and coming junior umpires.

Olympians Club Person Award: This award is to be presented to the person who
in the opinion of the selection panel shows Olympian Club characteristics such as
always positively contributing to the club, helps out in the background, has
committed to the club over a long period of time; and does so for the benefit of the
club and its players

Olympians Consistency Award: This award is to be presented to an Olympians
player who displays consistent achievement across the season, playing for their
team most weeks and attending training.

Olympians Defender Award: This award is to be presented to an Olympians player
who excels on the field in defence. This player can be relied upon to defend…

Olympians Attacking Forward Award: This award is to be presented to a forward
or midfielder who each week is attacking the ball and moving their team forward
towards to goal. The attacking forward may not necessarily be the highest goal
scorer but certainly assists in their team getting goals

Olympians Most Improved Award: This award is to be presented to someone who
has improved their skills throughout the season.

Olympians Club Spirit Award: This award is to be presented to someone who
embodies the Olympians spirit. It can come in many forms from consistently
attending training, helping out teams within the club, supporting teams and
encouraging others within the club

Emergence Award: This award can encompass many forms of development of an
Olympian player. It is to be presented to a player who is “coming into their own” their
style of hockey is developing, they continue to work on the field, and they put that extra
effort in throughout games. This player has continued to show growth throughout the
season, during play and with their team mates. This player positively impacts others
around her as it is a player who always believes their team mates even when matches
are close. This player has qualities of both a team leader and a team player.
