Multicultural Beach Safety Events organised by the Benevolent Society. 

The event will run from 11am to 2pm. 

4/9 at The Entrance SLSC - set up time from 9.30am - end time approx 3pm.

11/9 at Ocean Beach SLSC - set up time from 9.30am - end time approx 3pm.

Participants will arrive and register for the program start at 11am. A series of water safety talks will be given followed by beach activities including, craft, storytelling and an opportunity to practice floating in the pool at The Entrance and the ocean at Ocean Beach. 

Duties include: Assisting with the set up, meeting and greeting participants, helping with the registration process, supporting the activities (reading books or doing craft with children), packing away.

Please wear your Silver Saltie clothing if you have this. Otherwise wear comfortable clothing and bring hat and a water bottle.

Lunch will be provided.
